It’s been a while since the Montreal Canadiens had both Victor Mete and Charles Hudon in the lineup. The last time was a November 27th game at the Bell Centre seeing the Habs lose 2-1 to the Carolina Hurricanes.
Both Mete and Hudon were held to minimal roles playing 14 and 12 minutes respectively. However, the game looked worse on the young defenceman who was on the ice for both goals against. But that was the end for both players for the time being.
Mete was assigned to the AHL to build more confidence with the Laval Rocket while Hudon saw the press box in place of a healthy Paul Byron.
