It seems as if anytime the Montreal Canadiens lose, the fan base chooses one person to point the finger at, and nine times out of ten, Jonathan Drouin is on the receiving end. The team’s latest loss to the New York Islanders is the latest entry in that effort as Drouin were one of the pieces involved in that final play that cost the Habs the game.
Let’s keep one thing clear: Drouin wasn’t the reason the Montreal Canadiens lost. His no-look pass to Max Domi wasn’t well-received, but Brett Kulak‘s pinch and Jeff Petry‘s poor 2-on-1 play didn’t do the team any good.
