This past weekend was circled on many people’s calendars for months. It was one of the biggest events of the year. It was promised to be one of the biggest fights of all time. We all had our screens set to watch Connor McGregor take on Floyd Mayweather Jr on Saturday night.
What a fight that was. From start to finish the excitement level was through the roof. So much that you didn’t want it to end. It may be on a different scale, but hockey fights do the same thing for fans and the players.
There aren’t as many fights in today’s game than in the past, and if anything, that makes them more exciting.
