The Montreal Canadiens have been dealing with a plethora of injuries this season. Things were great for the first six weeks of the season and the team was clicking along at 11-5-3. Then Jonathan Drouin and Paul Byron got injured and the whole season fell apart overnight.
The only thing that piled up quicker than the names on the injured list was the number of losses for the Habs. They would go on two separate eight game losing streaks over their next 26 games played.
Joining Drouin and Byron on the sidelines in that time were Jesperi Kotkaniemi, Victor Mete, Joel Armia, Brendan Gallagher, Shea Weber and Matthew Peca.
