The Montreal Canadiens are the gift that keeps on giving when it comes to new prospects. After a solid 2018 NHL Entry Draft and a few trades, the prospect pool is as strong as its ever been. And management chose to add another name to the ranks after signing Joël Teasdale to an entry-level deal.
Teasdale was part of the new generation of camp invites this summer. It started in July at development camp, continued on to rookie camp, and now the young forward has worked his way to receiving an NHL contract.
On the surface, there’s not too much surprise from this decision.
