The Montreal Canadiens Shea Weber foot arc has found itself at another valley. After receiving surgery to repair tendons on his left foot back in March, it was originally believed that the veteran would require 6 months to recover. That would have him back to full health around September giving him time to get ready for the 2018-19 season.
It was tough to be without Weber for so long in the year, but knowing that the Habs would have him in the locker room again was reassuring. The defence was a big part of their many collapses and not having the 32-year-old didn’t help.
