Montreal Canadiens: Ryan Poehling hopes to bring a new story to the number 25

The Montreal Canadiens had nothing to play for Saturday night but pride after being eliminated from playoff contention. However, some players on the team had something else to drive them. For Charlie Lindgren, it was to leave a last mental image of himself to the coaching staff ahead of next season where he’ll likely back up Carey Price. But for Ryan Poehling, the goal was to make the most out of his NHL debut.

If you watched the game, Poehling did just that. The 2017 first-round pick played a little over 11 minutes including 42 seconds on the penalty kill.
