With a two week conditioning stint with the Laval Rocket wrapped up, the Montreal Canadiens have recalled forward Nikita Scherbak in the midst of their Western Canadian road trip, but he will not be joining the team as he deals with a lower-body injury.
The Canadiens announced that Nikita Scherbak has been recalled from Laval (end of his conditioning period). Scherbak will not join the team in Calgary, but will remain in Montreal to get treatment for a lower-body injury.#GoHabsGo

The young winger played five games for the Laval Rocket during his stint, recording one goal on six shots.
