The Montreal Canadiens have announced that goaltender Connor Lacouvee has re-signed with the organization. The deal is a minor league contract with the team’s American Hockey League affiliate, the Laval Rocket.
Lacouvee played 14 games with the Rocket last season, posting a 2.49 goals against average and a .914 save percentage. He began the season in the ECHL, where he put up a 3.22 goals against average with a .913 save percentage.
The Qualicum Beach, British Columbia native spent the four prior season in the NCAA. He went undrafted coming out of the BCHL, but cracked the roster at Boston University for the 2014-15 season.
