Montreal Canadiens Re-sign Charles Hudon

The Montreal Canadiens announced that left winger Charles Hudon has re-signed with the team. He inked a one-year, one-way contract that will have him earn $800,000 next season no matter where he plays.

Where Hudon will suit up next season is still up in the air. He played well in 2017-18, dressing for 71 NHL games, scoring ten goals and 30 points. It was thought at that time he would be a bottom six contributor for the Habs going forward.

Last season he hit a bit of a roadblock though. The Alma, Quebec native played 32 games with the Canadiens but scored just three goals and five points.
