The stories around the bottom-feeder teams have been interesting this season (Yes, the Montreal Canadiens are in the same boat to an extent,). The Edmonton Oilers were expected to be a true Stanely Cup Contender, the Buffalo Sabres were finally looking to turn their rebuild into something special, and the Arizona Coyotes made some moves over the offseason that would suggest they were ready to turn into a corner. However, when you lose the first 11 games of the season – this being the Coyotes – the rest of the year goes in shambles.
It looks to be another selling year for Arizona but also a time to give players who haven’t performed well another start somewhere else.
