It’s not too early to start thinking about training camp. If you check your calendar actually, there’s about three weeks until all that starts up (thankfully). There is definitely excitement around the Montreal Canadiens training camp.
The main reason why training camp is looked into, is because it’s the first chance fans get at looking at posssible line combinations for the following season. Free agent signing Karl Alzner will most likely start the season on the top pair with Shea Weber, but it’ll be interesting to see if he’s used anywhere else.
