The Montreal Canadiens have announced that winger Chris Terry has been placed on waivers. With the Habs dealing with several injuries, Terry was recalled last month. However, with two key forwards returning from injury for tonight’s game, Terry became expendable.
Terry has played extremely well for the St. John’s Ice Caps this season. He leads the team with ten goals and 26 points in 20 games for the American Hockey League squad. That’s exactly what he was brought into the organization to do.
The 27 year old winger was signed last summer to a one-year contract at $600,000.
