The Montreal Canadiens had their new home jersey released Tuesday night at an event in Las Vegas prior to Wednesday’s NHL Awards and Expansion Draft.
The NHL switched from Reebok to Adidas jerseys for the 2017-18 season, and while some teams have significant changes, the Canadiens will keep the same look they had for the last two seasons, with the white collar and laces on the home jersey. It is expected that the road jersey will stay the same as well. That will be announced later in the summer.
The jersey also has the Habs torch motto “From failing hands, we throw the torch,” in French, on the inside of the collar.
