The Montreal Canadiens have announced that Jean Francois Houle is the new head coach of the Laval Rocket.
Houle spent the last six years as an assistant coach in the American Hockey League. The 46-year-old was also previously the head coach of the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada where he was replaced by Joël Bouchard, who was the team’s general manager at the time. He also has NCAA coaching experience.
