Montreal Canadiens training camp opened on Monday, and there were already some clues as to how the team expects to lineup to start the season.
Tomas Tatar, who was not expected to be at practice due to quarantine rules, was on the ice and took his expected spot next to Phillip Danault and Brendan Gallagher.
The first group of goaltenders included Carey Price, Jake Allen, and Michael McNiven.
Other lines in the opening group included Tyler Toffoli with Jesperi Kotkaniemi and Joel Armia. Jonathan Drouin and Nick Suzuki were joined by Josh Anderson. Ryan Poehling skated with Jordan Weal and Michael Frolik.
