Welcome to training camp Montreal Canadiens fans! Rookie camp was exciting with Jesperi Kotkaniemi playing some games in North America, but other prospects in Will Bitten and Lukas Vejdemo made it enjoyable as well. Now it’s time for the real magic to begin.
The Habs announced their roster for training camp that will have 66 players taking part, including the 22 players remaining from rookie camp after eight were cut Tuesday afternoon. The roster breaks down to 37 forwards, 23 defencemen, and six (6) goaltenders. It looks like Simon Desprès will be the sole professional tryout at camp for Montreal.
