With the NHL playoffs officially coming to an end, the focus now shifts to the off-season, where GM’s will use what resources they have to attempt to improve their roster for the upcoming year. The off-season of 2019 looks to be the most eventful in recent memory with notable free agents, Erik Karlsson, Artemi Panarin and Matt Duchene possibly looking for new cities to call home.
Before we get to the craziness that is free agency, we have the 2019 NHL draft, which is being held in Vancouver. With the fifteenth overall pick, the Montreal Canadiens management team and scouting staff will be challenged with finding a key player to help the team to continue this upward trend they are in the midst of.
