These last two games have probably been the most emotional for Montreal Canadiens fans. There’s been a lot of anger, rants on social media, and for some painful realization of the problem at hand. Losing 5-4 to the Arizona Coyotes and 6-0 to the Toronto Maple Leafs is definitely making it difficult to remember that the Habs are still within reach of a playoff spot.
However, being within reach doesn’t mean that it will be easy to obtain. A lot of things have to change and go Montreal’s way for that to happen.
The Montreal Canadiens had a chance to do some damage during that six-game homestand but were only able to get four of a possible twelve points.
