There aren’t many times you hear from a general manager during the season. Generally, it’ll be when there is an impact trade, or the team isn’t performing well. Marc Bergevin had a handful of those for the Montreal Canadiens last year when things weren’t looking too good and with things going completely opposite, save for Saturday, though Bergevin’s next press conference is one we should all expect.
The Habs announced Sunday that Bergevin will hold a press conference at 5:15 PM ahead of the team’s game against the New Jersey Devils. In other circumstances, that may make you cock an eyebrow, but don’t forget it’s trade deadline day.
