Obviously, the players selected in the 2018 NHL entry draft won’t be included on this list as they haven’t even participated in their first training camp. I expect at least one player (Jesperi Kotkaniemi) will make his NHL debut with the Montreal Canadiens in the near future.
2017:
Not a single player from the Canadiens 2017 draft class has played an NHL game as of yet. I do understand that any draft class needs a couple of years to pan out, however as a fan, you’d like to think the first round pick is a year at most away from dawning an NHL jersey.
