The Montreal Canadiens announced several roster changes this morning, bringing goaltender Dustin Tokarski and defenseman Jarred Tinordi back to the NHL squad from the St. John’s Ice Caps and returning Zach Fucale to St. John’s.
Fucale was called up to the Canadiens for the first time in his career on November 30, following Carey Price’s injury. He served as Mike Condon’s backup for the past three games, but did not get any game action during his stint with the big club.
Fucale was taken with the 36 overall selection in the 2013 NHL Draft, and has a 7-2-2 record with the Ice Caps in his first AHL season.
