The Montreal Canadiens have assigned Charlie Lindgren to the American Hockey League’s Laval Rocket.

The Canadiens have reassigned goaltender Charlie Lindgren to the AHL’s Laval Rocket. He will be available to play in Friday’s game against the Marlies.

Lindgren will be available to play on Friday, and this likely means that Carey Price may be out longer than first anticipated. Cayden Primeau was Jake Allen’s backup on Wednesday.
