Karl Alzner wasn’t the only new-old face for the Montreal Canadiens at practice Thursday afternoon. Andrew Shaw, who has been out since December 31st with a neck injury missing the team’s last 11 games. It was an unfortunate time for him to sit out as he was coming on offensively including his two-goal performance against the Tampa Bay Lightning.
Based on the lines at practice, it looks like is on the verge of returning to the Habs. Paul Byron‘s suspension is over, and he was placed on Max Domi‘s right wing along with Tomas Tatar on the left.
