Although the Montreal Canadiens haven’t made a boatload of big moves, save for the Max Domi trade, it’s been a fairly positive offseason. What’s brought down some of those happy vibes were the number of offseason surgeries to repair injuries that members of the organization had to go through.
It started with Shea Weber who initially had one on his foot but later required a procedure on his knee. The list extended on to Andrew Shaw, Paul Byron, Jake Evans and Joni Ikonen. What Habs fans didn’t need to hear was that there was a possible Jonathan Drouin injury on deck.
