Before we get to the updates from practice Monday morning, Happy New Year! The Montreal Canadiens finished their 2017 with another loss, and now that it’s 2018, they’re back at practice start the new year off the right way.
There was a familiar face on the ice as Al Montoya joined the group. The 32-year-old has been out with a concussion since November back when it was he and Charlie Lindgren manning the net for the Habs. Montoya took a shot off the mask that at first seemed harmless but was later found to have given him a concussion.
