Preseason prognosticators tabbed the Canadiens and Jets as probable playoff teams.
They aren’t.
Your Canadiens are 13th in the Eastern Conference. They’re eight points south of a Wild-Card playoff spot – and only four and six points north of Columbus and Buffalo, respectively.
The Jets are 12th in the West, a whopping 13 points out of Wild-Card contention and barely ahead of Edmonton and Calgary.
The suckitude stretches a mari usque ad mare … at least it would if there were an NHL franchise in the Maritimes.
