Liveblog: Canadiens beat Kings 4-1

The big boys are in town.

The L.A. Kings, who visit the Bell Centre Thursday night, do not have a single player who is less than six feet tall.

Even our old friend Peter Budaj, who is tending the Kings’ goal while Jonathan Quick is out, is listed at 6’1″.

The Canadiens, by contrast, have SEVEN forwards who are shorter than 6′: Paul Byron, Andrew Shaw, Tomas Plekanec, Brendan Gallagher, Torrey Mitchell, David Desharnais and Sven Andrighetto.

Andrighetto, who is 5’10”, is in for DD, who’s 5’7″. Joel Hanley is two inches shorter and 30 pounds lighter than the defenceman he’s replacing, Greg Pateryn.
