Max Domi, son of Don Cherry’s favourite thug, is having an excellent rookie season with the Arizona Coyotes. Domi and Quebec Remparts alumnus Anthony Duclair are emerging stars worth watching when Arizona visits the Bell Centre Thursday night.
Neither was a Coyote last Feb. 1, when Alex Galchenyuk’s two goals had Arizona in a hole 4:55 into the game.
True to the logo on their jerseys, the Coyotes clawed back. They outshot the Canadiens 23-10 over the game’s final 40 minutes; and two power-play goals by Lauri Korpikoski, sandwiched around the 2-2 equalizer by Oliver Ekman-Larsson, sent Dustin Tokarski and his teammates down to defeat.
