Les Canadiennes are set to start their preparations for the season with 31 players attending the team's Selection Camp at the Complexe Bell in Brossard this weekend.
The only players from last year’s team not on the camp roster are goaltender Sydney Aveson, and forward/defender Chelsey Saunders. Melinda Prevost and Jessica Anderson, who were on the reserve roster are also not attending.
Everyone else is back and poised to bounce back from a season that saw a league-leading 21-3-0 regular season end with a championship game loss.
That includes the top four scorers in the CWHL in Marie-Philip Poulin, Ann-Sophie Bettez, Kim Deschênes, and Caroline Ouellette.
