The second-round pick in the most recent CWHL Draft had played 10 games and had five points at that point. She was named to the CWHL All-Star Game that would take place later that month, and her game kept improving from there.
On January 3, she had a two-goal, three-point game against the Boston Blades. It was the start of a six-game point streak that saw her get 10 points. In all she had 15 points in the final 13 games of the regular season.
At the All-Star Game, she stuck out among the league’s best players and was even awarded a penalty shot in the game.
