Les Canadiennes de Montreal announced their roster for the upcoming season, and there aren’t very many changes from the team that won the regular season title a year ago.
First round pick Sarah Lefort leads a group of six 2016 Draft Picks to join the team. Along with Lefort, who was the all-time leading scorer at Boston University, forward Marion Allemoz (5th round), defenders Cassandra Poudrier (2nd round), Brittney Fouracres (4th round), and Melanie Desrochers (7th round) and goaltender Amanda Makela (8th round).
They are joined by goaltender Catherine Herron, who was not on the team last year, but has 31 regular season CWHL games under her belt.
