Les Canadiennes have acquired forward Kayla Tutino from the Boston Blades in a trade this afternoon.
The trade completes the trade of Nachi Fujimoto, who was traded from Montreal to Boston prior to last season.
Tutino was the first overall pick in the 2016 CWHL Draft, and was named to the CWHL All-Star team. She had two goals and three assists in 24 games last season.
“I’m looking forward to the opportunity to return home and play in my hometown with Les Canadiennes. I can’t wait to wear the bleu-blanc-rouge and continue my professional career in Montreal,” said Tutino in a press release.
