Les Canadiennes acquire Erin Ambrose in CWHL blockbuster

Les Canadiennes have completed another blockbuster trade for a National team member.

Months after acquiring Emerance Maschmeyer from the Calgary Inferno, the Canadiennes have acquired defender Erin Ambrose from the Toronto Furies.

The cost was high. The Canadiennes traded first-round picks in 2018 and 2019 and third-round picks in 2018 and 2020 meaning that they expect Ambrose to be a member of the team for the foreseeable future.
