OPENING POSITION
Office Clerk – accounting department
Full time position to be filled as of January 2016
The office clerk will perform tasks related to the accounting department.
Those primary responsibilities will be:
• Perform requisitions and verify petty cash (bills)
• Perform data entry for contractual employees in the accounting system
• Verify the account statements
• Open the mail
• Perform the filing of the cheques and electronic transfers
• Obtain signatures on cheques
• Photocopy T4A invoices
• Verify the reports for the preparation of T4A and T4ANR slips
• Perform the entry of the expense reports
• Re-invoice bills for Denis Supplies
• Assist with the accounts payables
• Filing and archiving
• Replace the receptionist during lunch hours and occasionally
Requirements
• DES
• One (1) year of experience in office work
• Bilingual
• Knowledge of MS Office
• Knowledge of accounting software, an asset
• Have a sense of initiative, be organized and meticulous
