Injuries are something that’s going to happen every season. The Montreal Canadiens were without Paul Byron and Andrew for some time during portions of the year. The same took place with the Laval Rocket via Michael McCarron and Cale Fleury. However, the ailments have taken a course overseas inhabiting the team’s prospects in Sweden and Finland.
Joni Ikonen has been listed as injured by his Liiga team KalPa while Jacob Olofsson missed his third straight game with Timra.
It’s tough for Ikonen who relatively recently came off an injury. The 2017 second-round pick injured himself last summer so much so that it required surgery on his knee.
