After failing to record a goal in the first two weeks of the season, last year's rookie-goal-scoring leader exploded onto the scoresheet. The sophomore forward notched a trio of goals and one assist in four games of action. He also scored one of the prettiest goals of the young AHL season against Bridgeport, where he broke in alone and deked the Sound Tigers' goalie before scoring on his backhand.
