The St. John’s IceCaps return home for the first time in over a month when the host the Hartford Wolfpack on Friday and Saturday night. Hartford comes into the series with the second worst record in the AHL. The Rangers’ farm team currently sits dead last in the Atlantic Division. St. John’s is third in the North Division, just three points behind the first place Syracuse Crunch.
With eight (nine if you include Daniel Carr) regulars currently in Montreal with the Habs, there will be a few new faces on the ice at Mile One Centre. Michael McCarron’s brother John, as well as Anthony Camara and Reggie Traccitto, will make their home debuts.
