The Montreal Canadiens have a new farm team this season, the St. John's IceCaps. To help Canadiens fans track the team's performance in the AHL, we have invited Charles Dart, website contributor of the IceCaps' official website to prepare a bi-weekly summary of the action in Newfoundland.
ST. JOHN’S – It’s been a tough month of hockey into the New Year for the St. John’s IceCaps. As per the last IceCaps report on Jan. 26, the club started off 2016 with a win, followed up with a five-game losing streak. St. John’s seemed to turn things around starting with a 6-4 victory against the first-place Toronto Marlies (TOR) on January 17th followed up by an overtime loss to Bridgeport (NYI), and two wins versus the Albany Devils (NJ) on the 22nd and 23rd.
