Montreal Canadiens prospect Jesse Ylönen is adjusting to the whirlwind that the pandemic has brought.
From going to Finland to Montreal and back without playing a game, and not knowing when he’ll be back after signing his first NHL contract, he’s keeping up his training regime.
“I am just training and trying to stay in good shape right now,” he said. The injury that kept Ylönen out of the Laval Rocket games before COVID-19 shut down hockey doesn’t affect him anymore.
The prospect is watching the Canadiens from Finland. “What a game!,” he said in regards to Montreal’s dramatic overtime win in the first game against the Pittsburgh Penguins.
