Following a short All-Star break, the Canadiens return to action against the Flyers in Philadelphia on Tuesday night.
In their last contest before the break the Canadiens suffered a 5-2 defeat at the hands of the Columbus Blue Jackets. Devante Smith-Pelly and Alex Galchenyuk found the back of the net for the Habs, while All-Star defenseman P.K. Subban registered two assists.
The Flyers on the other hand entered the break with a 4-3 victory over the Eastern Conference leading Washington Capitals.
