Michel Therrien’s squad, who has not yet tasted defeat in 2015-2016, will be looking for an eighth consecutive victory to start the season. Friday night’s contest also marks the first of two back-to-back games for the Canadiens, who will return to Montreal to face the Maple Leafs at the Bell Centre Saturday night.
Coach Therrien will turn to rookie goaltender Mike Condon for the first game against the Sabres, meaning Carey Price will likely be between the pipes against the Maple Leafs the following night.
