A hectic weekend for Dale Weise seems to have finally come to an end, as the newly acquired winger has been recalled from the AHL by the Montreal Canadiens.
Acquired on Saturday, Weise was immediately assigned to the Laval Rocket, where he was a part of practice on Monday morning. With Kenny Agostino on waivers (and subsequently claimed by the Devils) a roster spot was available for Weise’s recall.
The move leaves the Rocket a bit short on forward help with Agostino being claimed, and Hunter Shinkaruk being injured.
