Les Canadiennes and the Toronto Furies face off for the first time this season, and for the second straight week, Montreal will face a team that is tied for first place in the CWHL standings.
Montreal is coming off of a sweep of the Markham Thunder where they never trailed, and now head to Toronto for their first road trip of the season.
Stop me if you’ve heard me before, but there is a lot of star power this weekend for the battle between these two teams. It’s a common refrain this year in the CWHL.
Toronto actually won the last game between these two teams, way back on January 21.
