For the second straight season, Les Canadiennes will be facing off against the Calgary Inferno in the Clarkson Cup final. The championship is a one-game, winner-take-all matchup.
Last year, Calgary made their first appearance in the final and won their first Cup. Montreal has three Clarkson Cups in their history, but have lost their last three final appearances. This is their third straight Finals appearance.
The two teams are very evenly matched and split the six games of the regular season series.
While Montreal will start Charline Labonté in goal, Calgary’s goaltending situation is an embarrassment of riches.
