Marc Bergevin likes to get his business done on a Sunday. The Montreal Canadiens finally brought their first-round pick from the 2017 NHL Draft over signing Ryan Poehling to an entry-level contract earlier in the day. But it looks like the Habs weren’t done yet as they announced the signing of seventh-round pick Cayden Primeau as well.
Primeau has been a fascinating story since Montreal selected him. He had an interesting draft year that had him discounted by several scouts playing 30 games for the Lincoln Stars of the USHL sporting a .895 save percentage.
