In a year where Jaromir Jagr is still performing at a high level at the top level of the sport, I guess we shouldn’t be surprised that Caroline Ouellette is on pace for her best CWHL season since 2011-12.
Ouellette had four goals in Les Canadiennes’ 10-0 win over the Boston Blades on Sunday afternoon. Karell Emard had her first CWHL hat trick in the win as well. Kim Deschênes, Sarah Lefort, and Marion Allemoz (her first career goal) also scored for Montreal.
Catherine Herron made 26 saves for the shut out.
Perhaps more importantly, Ouellette’s efforts have moved her to 299 points all-time in the CWHL, and she can get to that mark fittingly at the Bell Centre on Saturday during the team’s heritage game.
