The Montreal Canadiens provided some clarity surrounding the health of their star goaltender Carey Price with a press release this afternoon.
Habs announce that Price has severe flu symptoms, is on antibiotics and resting at home under daily evaluation by team physician Dr. Mulder

The fact that Price is taking antibiotics is odd as that is generally to fight bacteria and not a flu but the Habs are toeing the line between letting the public know and keeping Price’s health private.
The good news is that if he is at home it isn’t serious and it means he could be back relatively quickly once the symptoms dissipate.
