Canadiens vs. Senators second period thread

Nathan Beaulieu returned to the lineup tonight, and jumped on a loose puck in front of the Senators' net left there by a solid power move towards the net by Daniel Carr. The puck went off Craig Anderson, and went to Brian Flynn on the far post who was wide open. Flynn made no mistake and put the Habs up 1-0 just 2:48 into the first period.

It was the exact start the Canadiens' needed. The Habs led 14-4 in shots by the midway point of the first period, and were owning possession with 19 shot attempts to Ottawa's 5.
