The Habs and Isles played a very even start to the game, looking like two teams that played each other two nights ago. This is already the third time these teams are playing this season, so it's no surprise they're familiar with one another.
Eventually, the pace would split in favour of the Canadiens, with Sven Andrighetto using his speed along the boards to draw Brian Strait into an interference penalty. The powerplay would be good for a couple of shots, but could not beat Thomas Greiss who is playing very well again tonight.
